How to Implement Pay by Link

To use Pay by Link, simply provide basic payment details such as amount, currency, and customer information — no sensitive data or complex setup required. Novalnet will generate a secure payment link that you can easily share with your customers via email, SMS, or QR code. You can create links either through the API by submitting a /seamless/payment request and retrieving the redirect URL from the response, or directly in the Novalnet Merchant Portal without any coding effort.

Step 1: Create and Send the Link

  1. Log in to the Novalnet Merchant Portal.
  2. Go to Manual Processing → Pay By Link → Create.
  3. Enter payment information such as amount, currency, and payment description.
  4. Create the link and share it with your customer via email, SMS, or QR code

Step 2: Track and Test Payments

  1. For automated link creation, use the /seamless/payment API and retrieve the redirect URL from the response.
  2. Optionally include customer.email and hosted_page.link_notify to let Novalnet send the link automatically.
  3. Use the Testing Guide to simulate and verify successful payment flows.
  4. Monitor all transactions and payment statuses in your Merchant Portal Dashboard.
