iDEAL | Wero simplifies the online payment process for businesses and customers alike. By offering iDEAL | Wero as a payment option, you can attract a broader customer base in the Netherlands, streamline checkout processes, and increase conversion rates.

The Dutch online banking payment method iDEAL will gradually be replaced by Wero. Merchants currently accepting iDEAL must adopt Wero during 2026 – 2027 in order to keep offering bank-redirect payments to customers in the Netherlands. As an initial step in Q1 2026, merchants are required to update their checkout presentation to reflect the new branding. Refer instructions on migrating from iDEAL to Wero.
