Step 1: Configure Subscription Plans
- Log in to the Novalnet Merchant Portal.
- Go to Subscription Management → Predefined Subscriptions.
- Create or edit a subscription plan by setting the billing interval, amount, trial period, and duration.
- Assign the subscription plan to the desired payment method (e.g., SEPA, card, PayPal).
- Save your settings and verify that the plan is active for use in your integration.
Step 2: Automate and Test Recurring Payments
- To create subscriptions programmatically, use the Subscription API within your payment request — include parameters such as
subscription.tariff_id,subscription.interval, andsubscription.period. - Customers are automatically charged based on the plan setup. Cancellations, pauses, and renewals can be managed through the Merchant Portal or API.
- Use the Testing Guide to simulate subscription creation, renewal, and cancellation flows.
