Pay Cash

PAY CASH

Barzahlen is available in Germany and Austria, Italy will follow soon. Develop new customer groups with the option of enabling them to pay with cash in stationery shops. Because cash is by far the most widely used means of payment, at least in Germany. The advantage for your customers is that they do not have to disclose sensitive bank details and this type of payment is absolutely secure. In addition, Barzahlen can also be used to reach customers who do not have a current account or (due to poor scoring values or similar) do not have access to creditworthiness-dependent payment methods.

How Barzahlen works

Your customer orders in your online shop and chooses the payment method Barzahlen (up to a maximum of € 999). He either prints out the payment slip with the barcode (valid for a maximum of 14 days) or has an SMS sent to his mobile phone. With this barcode (or payment code via SMS), the buyer selects one of the numerous Barzahlen partner branches in his area, has the code scanned at the checkout and pays the outstanding amount.

Automatic Payment Confirmation

So that faster shipping and low storage costs are possible, you will automatically receive a payment confirmation from us in real-time as soon as the end customer pays the amount in retail.

100% Payment Guarantee

The payment method Barzahlen offers you a 100 percent payment guarantee since payment defaults or fraud are excluded.

Comprehensive Payment Network for your Customers

Your customers can pay for purchases from your online shop in over 10,000 German branches of dm, REWE, Penny, real, – and other partners. In Austria, the service is available nationwide in around 2,500 branches of BILLA, BIPA, dm, Penny and Merkur. This ensures that almost every end customer has a branch nearby. On the one hand, your customers can buy products online that they cannot find nearby in brick-and-mortar stores and, on the other hand, use the advantages of paying in cash if they cannot or do not want to store payment data on the Internet. Your customers remain flexible and can easily pay for their online purchases in cash with their daily shopping in the store.

What happens with a return?

Your customer sends the ordered goods back to you as usual and you check them. Then you trigger the repayment in the backend. Barzahlen then sends the customer a payout slip by email. The customer can print this out or have it sent to his mobile phone as an SMS. With the barcode, he can either have the amount paid out in a partner branch or enter it using an online form at Barzahlen and have it transferred to his account.
